$210 per student
Develop your emergency response skills with our advanced first-aid course. This hands-on training prepares you to handle challenging situations, coordinate responses, and provide care for multiple casualties until emergency services arrive. Learn to manage critical conditions while following Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, building the confidence needed for effective action.

Course Description

This advanced first-aid course provides comprehensive training to equip you with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in challenging emergency situations. Through practical simulations of real-life scenarios, you’ll learn how to coordinate and manage a response, provide advanced first aid care, and support multiple casualties until emergency services arrive.

The training covers a wide range of high-risk scenarios, including treating potentially fatal illnesses and injuries, extricating and moving casualties, managing head, neck and spinal injuries, and administering treatments for advanced conditions like hypothermia, hyperthermia, life-threatening bleeding, and shock. Instruction on basic first aid and CPR techniques is also included.

In line with legal, community, and workplace protocols, the course follows Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and recommendations from other leading national clinical bodies. You’ll gain expertise in assessing casualties, ensuring safety, contacting emergency services, recording casualty conditions, completing incident documentation, and conducting post-incident debriefings to identify areas for improvement.
